Resolution
The ATNI Economic Development Committee’s recommendations and
resolutions passed to form the ATNI-Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
- ATNI Resolution #96-17, “ATNI Economic Development Corporation”.
Approved at the 1996 Mid-Year Conference in Pendleton, Oregon.
- Authorized the legal incorporation and development of a wholly
owned nonprofit subsidiary to encompass all economic development
activities in the areas of economic planning, finance, and
technical assistance in the enhancement of management.
- ATNI Executive Board approval of a seven (7) person Board of
Directors to govern the Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
- ATNI Resolution #96-66, “ATNI Economic Development
Corporation”. Approved at the 1996 Annual Conference in Yakama,
Washington.
- Legal incorporation of a wholly-owned 501 (c) 3
- Approval of a corporate business plan by-laws and articles
of incorporation.
- Final recommendation to the ATNI Executive Board on the
appointees to the Corporation’s Board of Directors.
- Transfer of the Banking & Finance project and the Economic
Development Administration planning grant to the Corporation.
