About ATNI-EDC

In November 1997, ATNI-EDC held an Economic Summit in Seattle, Washington. Over 125 Tribal leaders and economic planners gathered to discuss the challenges of economic development within Northwest Indian Country, and to look for ways to work collaboratively on programs of mutual interest. Program priorities identified by the participants became the foundation of ATNI-EDC programming activities.

One of ATNI EDC’s primary purposes is to provide opportunities for investing Tribal and corporate resources in future enterprises based on viability, feasibility, efficiency, profitability and sustainability. Our current programs place emphasis on  the development of a Revolving Loan Fund.
